Accepting Jesus as Lord and God's Gift of Salvation!

We are created by God and whether we realize it or not, we have a need to connect with God and our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Bible says that we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.  Christians are simply people who have recognized their need for God in their lives and have accepted the gift of salvation and God's love.

God so loved the world that He sent His only son, Jesus, into the world so that we would not die but could have eternal life.

Jesus was born, lived on this earth, taught, died on a cross, and rose again so that we could be saved and live free from sin and death.

There is much more to a relationship with Jesus but this prayer is the beginning.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

If you have prayed this prayer with sincerity, you are now a follower of Jesus.  The Bible says, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
